Who Ate the Pie? A Children's Book by Elio Villafranca with Illustrations by Ute Zimmermann
Who Ate the Pie? offers children an interactive way to learn to recognize animals by their geometrical shapes of their footprints and by the sound each animal makes. Who Ate the Pie? is a fun, engaging, educational and beautifully illustrated book, with illustrations by Ute Zimmermann, where young children and their parents are invited to join an important mission: find a lost pie for Mr. Goose. This first children's book by Cuban jazz pianist, Elio Villafranca, is bound to capture the heart of readers of all ages.
Midori Kaneko Larsen A heartwarming, loving book that takes you to places near and far. My daughter and I read and enjoyed the sounds of the words and those of the different animals, while guessing to whom those foot prints belong! The music written by the author /composer is absolutely beautiful—a great bonus you don’t want to miss especially if you know how to play the piano.
Kumiko. H A cute and heartwarming story that both parents and kids can enjoy together! It’s a story but also like a quiz. You’ll encounter lots of different animals in the story, and it’ll nurture your little ons’ imagination. I highly recommend it :)
Alex Beck I am a preschool teacher and my class really loves this book. The story is simple, but sweet and sweet and asks my class to do some detective work to figure out who might have taken the pie. The kids' favorite part is the pictures which are sometimes sweet and sometimes just plain silly. :-)
Andrew T. A fun, age-appropriate story with engaging illustrations. Who doesn't love to learn about animals, and see a goose wearing a piano key scarf?! I purchased directly from the artist, who's a wonderful musician and human being. Great holiday gift!
